Arrive in Regina
Accommodations will be at the Delta Regina (now owned and operated by Marriott) . We have secured a rate of $149.00 / night plus (3% marketing fee, 5% PST and 5% GST.). To book online, go to Book your group rate for Troop 23 or use the link in the email of February 27th.
Approx. 7:00 PM: Hospitality Room with some finger food . This is a BYOB event . Costing of the room, a complimentary room from the hotel has allowed us to waive any fees, unless we exceed $78.00). It is suggested that you bring any PICs / albums to back up your tales.
September 9th, Friday (The date we graduated exactly 47 years ago)
Breakfast at Delta (on your own schedule)
Approx. 9:00 AM: Tour of Depot for the group begins at the Business Centre with security and identification. Hosted by Randy Burt, Security Investigator for Northwest Region and friend of Graham Jacklin, who has facilitated our arrival.
11:15 AM: Lunch in new Division Mess Hall (Vacated by 12:00 Noon for Recruit 's Meal Period)
12:30 PM: Sergeant Major's Noon Parade including fly-past by Canadian Armed Forces "Snowbirds" from CFB Moosejaw.
Free Afternoon
@ 4:00 PM – Gather in the Hospitality Room. Same arrangements as on Friday.
@ 6:00 PM - Dinner Out at Golf’s Steakhouse (8’ walk from Delta)
Free Evening – Casino Across the Street or Hospitality Room available on request.
September 10th, Saturday
Informal breakfast at Delta (on your own schedule. We may want to coordinate a gathering time. The hotel has been advised that we may come en masse)
11:00 AM - Back to Depot for a Self-guided Tour of the RCMP Heritage Centre
1:00 PM - Lunch at the "Knotted Thistle Celtic Pub" (a.k.a. The Old Vagabond (Travelodge Motor Inn)). This was the site of our Graduation Dinner and Dance. Transportation required.
Afternoon - Free Time
6:00 PM – Dinner – Nothing arranged / suggested at this time
Free Evening – Casino or Hospitality Room available on request. Suggested PICs / albums be brought for viewing.

Breakfast at the Delta (on your own schedule) and Departure Day for most.
SPECIAL INVITATION:
We have been invited by the RCMP Veterans' Association (Regina Division) and Depot Division to join them in the RCMP Memorial Services. For those interested in marching with the Veterans' Association, they gather at the Drill Hall at 7:45 AM to practice "getting back in step". The parade begins at 8:30 AM. Those wishing to attend, but not march, can advise of their attendance (and non-marching status) and chairs will be provided near the reviewing stand. Dress for the event is red/blue blazer, wedge cap, white gloves and full size medals and mourning ribbon, or a dark business suit. A Church Service will be held in the chapel following the parade. Those interested can join the VA Members and their spouses at the Division Mess for brunch.
